Baltimore Chesed League for Boys (by Columbia Group) Kicks Off 2022 Season with a Bang!

The antics of Team “Aventura Assisted Living Baltimore” brought Adar joy to Sterling Care Assisted Living residents while they ate dinner. 

Team “CBT Baltimore” gathered Shaimos at the Agudah of Park Heights. They boys helped put them in bags and then move them to storage in preparation for their burial before Pesach.

Team “The Naomi Center” crushed it this week, helping with the building of food boxes for a local Chesed organization!

Teams “Mend Acupuncture,” “Kelemer Brothers Replacement Windows,” and “Erez Seiferas” had a wonderful time working with the The Friendship Circle of Baltimore, delivering mishloach manos and meeting families across the community.

Team “King David Nursing and Rehabilitation Center” partnered with members of Yachad to build care packages for families staying at the Tikvah House.

Team “Keren Reva Costume Gemach” stocked and cleaned the Bikur Cholim room at Johns Hopkins.

Team “WesBanco” had the privilege of visiting King David Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, bringing some exciting Adar simcha and cheer to the residents.

Team “Shimon Hoffman Erie Insurance” spent a fun afternoon with their friends from Menucha, sharing in some delicious pizza, participating in an intense football game, and jointly davening a meaningful Mincha.

Team “DC Dental” put on a variety show for the residents at Aventura at the Heights.

1Teams “Erez/Seiferas” and “Pricebusters Furniture Sales” spent the afternoon cleaning the Ahavas Chaim recreation room and painting the floor. It was great exercise, a lot of help,  and great fun!

Team “Winner Insulation” had a great time baking desserts for Bikur Cholim of Baltimore! They used teamwork to properly follow the recipes and clean up after themselves.

Team “Blue Ocean” met volunteers from Chaverim of Baltimore who taught the boys basic auto skills including jumping a battery, opening locked doors, and changing tires, providing them with skills that will enable the boys to perform more chesed in the future.

Team “Chesed Monkeys” visited the residents of Sterling Care Assisted Living, performing 6 songs, putting on  a magic show, and bringing smiles to the residents. It was a perfect way to get into the Purim spirit!

Team “Sage Ventures” partnered with Yachad Baltimore to make Purim cards and mishloach manos to be delivered to residents at Sterling Care Assisted Living.

Team “Union Bridge Family Dentistry” did a tremendous job helping to spread mulch in the Ohr Chadash Academy playground. The boys put in some hard work and muscle to help beautify the school!

Team “Pikesville Remodeling” had a blast helping the CJE library put their books back in order. The boys were surprised to discover how satisfying and fun a library can be!

Team “Advanced Root Canal Specialists” had a great first week. The team joined up with boys from Menucha for dinner followed by an inclusive football game and foosball/ping-pong activities!

Team “David Flamm-Nationwide Agency” had the privilege of visiting the Hatzalah of Baltimore garage where they learned about the important work that Hatzalah does and then had the opportunity to clean the ambulance!
