Before Pesach, we had Yitzy Schleifer, our Baltimore County councilman, speak at Aventura at The Heights Assisted Living. We had Yachad JUF participants join us. He talked about chametz burning (how for the first time in many years it is not in the same place it used to be by the Pimlico Race Course, he also shared what’s going on in the Baltimore community, and spoke about the work he does. He also brought some bright orange T-shirts and stress balls for the residents and Yachad participants, which was very appreciated. Thank you Yitzy for all you do for our community!
