On the first day of Chanukah, Miriam’s Library officially closed on the purchase of its permanent building, marking a major milestone for the growing educational initiative.
The $2.3 million property, located at 201 Milford Mill Road, will serve as the future home of Miriam’s Library, a center focused on education, after-school programming, and community learning. The closing took place in the presence of local rabbonim, community leaders, and supporters of the project.
Miriam’s Library is dedicated to strengthening Jewish education through accessible programming, tutoring, and curated Jewish learning spaces for children and families. The newly acquired building will allow the organization to significantly expand its offerings and establish a permanent hub for its programs.
“This building gives Miriam’s Library the foundation it needs to grow and serve the community in a lasting way,” Mendel Mintz said. “It allows us to move from vision to long-term impact.”
The acquisition comes after months of planning and fundraising, supported by over 4,000 donors who contributed to the project. Renovations and build-out plans for the space are expected to move forward in the coming months.
